The Department of Health Education of the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro-Núcleo Regional do Norte, awarded the work carried out by our #essentialteam within the scope of Onda Rosa. A public recognition of the importance of our contribution to health education and cancer prevention. This was a surprising gesture, which leaves us very happy! The award was given publicly at the VI Health Education Gala in the Cooperating Messages Category, which took place on February 4, World Cancer Day, at the Aula Magna of Universidade Portucalense. “United voices: They reach further” was the motto of the session, which intended to echo the sound wave that that Department of the Portuguese League Against Cancer has developed over the years. And which, in his own words, 'aims to clearly state that when we are together (and the collaboration with Essence is an example of this), we speak louder (more people receive the message) and we go further (we impact more the community)'.
